Youth Creative Writing
4:30 pm until 5:30 pm
Creative writing is an exciting way for youth aged 12 to 17 to express their thoughts, ideas, and imagination. Whether it’s writing stories, poems, songs, or even short scripts, it gives young people the freedom to explore their creativity and find their unique voice. Creative writing can also build confidence, improve communication skills, and help youth make sense of their experiences and emotions in a fun and meaningful way. Programs like classes by Amanda Samuelson can further support youth by teaching storytelling, character development, and self-expression through interactive and engaging activities.
Intermedian Guitar Lessons 10 am until 11 am Every Saturday
Intermediate guitar lessons with Sebastian Barrera offer a dynamic and engaging way for learners of all ages to build on their existing skills and grow as musicians. These sessions focus on developing technique, rhythm, and musical expression while exploring different styles and genres. Participants gain confidence through hands-on practice, learning chords, scales, and songwriting, while also strengthening creativity and performance skills in a supportive and inspiring environment.
Beginners Guitar Lessons 10 am to 11 am Every Saturday
Beginner’s guitar lessons by George Zhang provide a welcoming and supportive introduction to playing guitar for learners of all ages. These sessions focus on the basics, including simple chords, strumming patterns, and rhythm, helping participants build a strong foundation. Through fun and interactive practice, students gain confidence, develop coordination, and begin exploring their musical creativity in an encouraging environment.
Jam Sessions Every Saturday 11 am until 1 pm
The jam session organized by Dana Wylie, running from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., is a welcoming space for musicians of all ages and skill levels to come together and make music. Participants share ideas, play collaboratively, and explore different styles in a relaxed and creative environment. These sessions encourage improvisation, active listening, and teamwork, while helping musicians build confidence and connect with others through shared musical expression.
